I so enjoy being a mom, I like to take the humor and the precious moments in the same way. In the past week alone, with all three Ive realized no matter how old each child gets, there are still moments that will always bring me back to my kiddos as babies:) Andrew for as long as i remember every boo boo could be fixed with an icee, the one time he had stitches at two, was him trying to open an icee at 5 am with a steak knife, scary because he didn't like to tell anyone he was awake....so poor kid slammed his fingers a couple days ago in the door, ouch!! so immediately i said oh do you need and icee!! I honestly don't remember the last time that happened, but he hugged me and said yes :)
Alex the other night was drinking a glass of water, and looking at me while drinking, glass covering all of his face except those big blue eyes...all i could think of was my baby drinking a bottle with those eyes staring at me and those adorable lips drinking....it may sound odd but moments like that put life into perspective for me.
Little miss Faith gosh! She is such a sweet spitfire! Her ultimate moments are with Blankets, every blanket she owns is so special because the corners hold some kind of special power! She just buries her face and makes the same sound she always has...and thinks everyone in the house should enjoy it as much as her!! Its so precious! So its the little things in life, that help me every now and then embrace the blessings in my life!
