Well baseball has started... let the crazy days begin!!! The kids enjoy it so much.. its great to be active! Andrew is doing great even though he is a Red Sox! He is not a fan! But he is happy to have Mike as a coach! Alex is a Cardinal! Faith had her first practice this week.. she was a little chilly, but all smiles! She is a happy member of The Dodgers Tee-ball.. Opening day is May 2nd...YAHOO!!
Alex is still doing great with his hearing aid! Andrew found out that a poem he wrote in school a couple months ago is going to be published in The Youth Poetry Digest! Ironically its about pigs and bacon!! His favorite thing at the moment!! i cant wait to see it. Very excited!!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Mikes dream has come true!!! He and Alex are The Cardinals this year!!!

We had a very fun last day of "vacation" we met our friends at Minnehans for some putt putt golf and other fun games, with some yummy lunch. It was a well needed time of relaxing and sunshine!! Faith was quite the golfer!! HAPPY SPRING!!!

 

 

 

 

We had such a fun and eventful weekend.. Thanks mom and dad!! we arrived in W.V. around 2:30 am Saturday... lots of fun and good food! the kids had a great Easter and we had fun seeing the mountains and all the beauty of nature.

HAPPY EASTER

Well its arrived! The long awaited hearing aid! It has opened an entire new world for Alex.I have been so worried about the entire process! As soon as the Audiologist placed it in, he has been in awe. He instantly heard his own voice, and was amazed! It is the small things in life that we take for granted... yesterday for example... tic toc of a clock....running water in the other room....and so many songs sound different.. more instruments. I just spoke with his teacher this morning (mom was a little concerned about the bus ride!) and he is still on cloud 9! She just said that his eyes are just beaming!! I'm so proud of him, he is such a brave boy! 
 

On Saturday we went to a spaghetti dinner to raise money for the kids basketball team in Livonia. We went with our friends The Wigley's. Ryan and Alex are the bestest buds.. Derrick and Faith are in preschool together.. they may not be best buds... but they are so cute together! They both are very quiet around each other!

 

 

 

Alex took part in the reading Olympics for the past month. He received a silver medal. Faith and I were able to watch the ceremony!
